Sustainable Diets, A Way to Improve and Maintain Eating Behaviors and Health in Times of COVID-19 in First-Year University Students

Sustainable dietary pattern has reported multiple benefits for environmental and human health through sustainable food culture. The Covid-19 pandemic led the population to adapt a new virtual reality in all activities become more aware of their health. This study explores how evaluate impact nutritional education interventions on adherence MD first-year university adolescents, before after educational intervention. A total 165 students participated experiment (85 intervention group 80 control group). 14-point questionnaire was applied MD. consists four presential sessions using social media complete training. t-tests show that with did not change its during two periods data collection (p=0.187), contrary which significantly decreased (p=0.001) from 7.41 6.62. It been concluded it is necessary work institutional policies promote this as lifestyle would be beneficial better cope pandemic, since many products are used Latin-American countries several years.
